Finally got my new J-pole up and it's an improvement over the former Disconne. I can finally raise the JNOS packet station in Kalamazoo and other distant 2m repeaters. The SWR is not bad, ranging fron 1.5 to 2.0. I'm glad that my choice of feeder coax was RG-8U insteas of RG-58U. The antenna is also doing a good job with scanning the service frequencies. A big thanks to Fred, N8FR who provided the J-pole as a gift and Jim AC8AZ for installation.
