After a " red-eye" bus trip from Battle Creek (with the Kalamazoo Radio club) we arrived at Dayton just before the gates were unlocked on opening day. Deal-hungry hams just rushed in to the ham mecca of radios and other in this electronic playground. I did not mind walking around for 8 hours soaking in everything from ham books and software to D-Star demonstrations. The whirl-wind trip ended with the bus trip back home with many things to chat and "eye-balls" experienced. A must do again event.
